Position Title: Event Production Account Executive

Position Summary

At Showcore the Event Production Account Executive will generate new business sales by developing new client relationships along with building on current client relationships. This role requires that the individual be passionate about technology and about how well designed and executed audio-visual production can make a difference for our clients. This is consultative selling at its best so, interest and knowledge in the audio visual and event production industry is a plus.  A successful candidate has strong presentation skills, is highly motivated, can quickly connect company value to client scenarios and business objectives.

 Areas of Responsibility

Sales

  • Proactively manage, develop, prioritize and engage new client leads
  • Exhibit consultative selling practices to qualify and determine client needs
  • Meet with clients and prospects to determine project scope of work
  • Create client engagement opportunities
  • Effectively utilize internal resources to provide optimal client experiences and project outcomes
  • Develop goals and accurate revenue forecasts
  • Accurately develop and prepare client proposals and project quotes and proposals
  • Work with current clients to maintain and expand relationships
  • Work alongside Project Management team to accurately guide scope of work for client needs in a timely manner
  • Drive budgetary decisions that best fit with the client outcome objectives and scope of work
  • Negotiate contract decisions to maintain project profitability standards while maintaining Showcore standards of service
  • Transfer project details accurately to technical and project teams
  • Coordinate communication alongside project management team during all phases of client projects
  • When applicable, travel to event location and provide support to clients and project team
  • Provide insights detailed information from client engagements and market information to support marketing team initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years direct business sales experience calling on medium to large clients
  • Excellent cold-calling, prospecting, and closing skills
  • Motivation to create new business
  • Strong communication, writing, negotiation, and time-management skills
  • Enthusiasm and an ability to learn quickly and retain information
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills using Windows applications – specifically, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • A positive attitude and an ability to represent Showcore with professionalism
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging and changing work environment
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented professional style with a strong ability to work independently

Special Needs

  1. Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and some out-of-town travel.
  2. Existing relationships within the live event and event production industry
  3. Some understanding of CAD drawings
  4. Ability to understand the design and creative processes
  5. Some knowledge of project management processes
  6. Audio Visual Technology operation
