Tax Manager

Lakeside HR Group has been engaged to recruit for a Tax Manager for a certified public accounting (CPA) firm located in the Twin Cities. Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual for the position of Tax Manager, with a strong interest in progressing to the role of Partner. As the Tax Manager, you will assume responsibilities such as reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, and corporations. Additionally, you will engage in client meetings, tax planning, staff development, and extensive research on tax-related matters.

Key Qualifications:
  • Possess a minimum of five years of experience in tax-related roles within the public accounting sector, which includes a cross section of experience between businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Exhibit excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional analytical abilities and possess strong technical knowledge in tax accounting and related technologies.
  • Hold a valid CPA license.

  • Proficiency in computer skills is highly desirable, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite being essential. Familiarity with CCH Axcess Tax, Document, QuickBooks, and Engagement is strongly preferred.
