Empower Leadership Academy | Hosted by Anderson Foundation

June 12 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm CDT - FREE

This academy is open to all girls ages 10-18 in the Anderson Foundation and the greater Twin Cities community (you do not need to be a member of TeamWomen to attend).

Join us for a light breakfast that includes pastries, fruit, and beverages, followed by a journey through the four areas of focus that we use in our proprietary curriculum: confidence, leadership, resilience, and mental wellness.

Developing leadership, building confidence, and strengthening resilience requires education and practice. Empower Leadership Academy provides a safe and interactive environment to learn, grow, and develop.

Former Collegiate Gopher Basketball star,  Kiara Buford recently returned to the University of Minnesota as Director of Alumni Relations. Before this, she was a Behavior Interventionist at Roseville High School for nine years, helping students seek success in their high school experience by building relationships, setting goals, and developing a positive community.  In addition to her full-time career, she dedicates time as an Empower Leadership Academy and ON Point Elite Leadership Coach.

Laura Adrian is a Retreat Facilitator, Speaker, and Writer who is a catalyst for transformative experiences that connect thousands globally to overcome obstacles and consciously create their lives.

As the Founder of Whole Life Elevation, Laura is recognized as a respected leader in the realm of empowerment through nature engagement. Laura’s journey has been shaped by her extensive training as a certified mindfulness meditation teacher from the University of California Berkeley.

As a former chemist and environmental scientist at 3M, Laura blends nuggets of science into her inspiring experiences. In her signature 5-day wilderness immersions, she guides participants to set down the burdens of modern life, allowing them to embrace the simple beauty of nature.

Being neurodivergent herself, Laura brings a unique perspective to the healing benefits of nature, especially for those who feel like outsiders.

With Laura Adrian as your guide, prepare to embark on an eye-opening journey of self-discovery!
