Empower Leadership Academy | Hosted by Ascentek

This academy is open to all girls ages 10-18 in the Ascentek and Greater Twin Cities community (you do not need to be a member of TeamWomen to attend).

Please be advised that this is a parent drop-off event.

Developing leadership, building confidence, and strengthening resilience requires education and practice. Empower Leadership Academy provides a safe and interactive environment to learn, grow, and develop.

All young girls in the greater Twin Cities community are encouraged to join us for a journey through the four areas of focus that we use in our proprietary curriculum: confidence, leadership, resilience, and mental wellness.

International development professional. Participated in and advised on research activities, program evaluation, and development in the United States, Colombia, Brazil, Kenya, and the Southeast Asian Nations. Her expertise is related to community engagement, DEI, media, communications, early childhood development, public health, and systems circularity. Marian is also fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.

She is passionate about leadership and holistic approaches to child development to give them the tools and bases to succeed but also to be confident, to speak up, to create knowledge, and to be the change in the world for the better.

Reelika Schulte is a certified international business coach with an honors degree in business, and the founder of Design Dream Lifestyle, where she teaches women from around the world how to use their life experiences to launch their own thriving online coaching business.

Growing up in Estonia, Reelika developed an entrepreneurial mindset after watching her parents start their own business after the fall of the Soviet Union. After working in her parents’ business and also in corporate finance for 10+ years, and running a personal finance blog, Reelika became an expert in balancing the personal and professional. She uses this business background and online savvy to encourage other women in the online coaching field and to expand their reach through sales funnels, conversions, lead generation, and passive revenue methods.

Her work has appeared in publications like Forbes, Shining Mentor Magazine, and The Huffington Post. She loves to speak about finding clients through automated marketing, creating signature coaching programs that sell, and building evergreen global coaching businesses.

She lives in Minnesota with her husband, sons and baby girl.

Laura Boyd is a leader, speaker, leadership coach, and author. She has over 25 years of experience working with organizations to help them develop sustainable growth as organizations and the people within. She has been a leader on executive teams for large companies, emerging companies, and non-profits, as well as, a business owner. She believes Leadership is the ultimate Delta for change, strategy, and growth in an organization. She is now taking her years of experience helping businesses become high-performance
organizations through personal leadership development.

Laura has her Masters in Organizational Leadership, certification in change management, and is a certified enhanced coaching practitioner. Laura recently authored Words that Work for Leaders: 31 Days of Reflection, Motivation, and Goal Setting. It is an inspirational book excellent for business leaders who want to grow and achieve their full potential through intentional leadership.

When Laura is not working with her clients, she enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering with the Empower Leadership Academy for Youth, teaching Entrepreneurship and Leadership classes, and going to the gym.

Former Collegiate Gopher Basketball star, Kiara Buford recently returned to the University of Minnesota as Director of Alumni Relations. Before this, she was a Behavior Interventionist at Roseville High School for nine years, helping students seek success in their high school experience by building relationships, setting goals, and developing a positive community. In addition to her full-time career, she dedicates time as an Empower Leadership Academy and ON Point Elite Leadership Coach.
