Empower Leadership Academy | Hosted by Grey Search + Strategy

This academy is open to all girls ages 10-18 in the Grey Search + Strategy and Greater Twin Cities community (you do not need to be a member of TeamWomen to attend).

Developing leadership, building confidence, and strengthening resilience requires education and practice. Empower Leadership Academy provides a safe and interactive environment to learn, grow, and develop.

All young girls in the Grey Search + Strategy and greater Twin Cities community are encouraged to join us for a journey through the four areas of focus that we use in our proprietary curriculum: confidence, leadership, resilience, and mental wellness.

She is passionate about leadership and holistic approaches to child development to give them the tools and bases to succeed but also to be confident, to speak up, to create knowledge, and to be the change in the world for the better.

Laura Boyd has over 25 years of experience working with organizations to help them develop sustainable growth and the people within. She has been a leader on executive teams for large companies, emerging companies, and non-profits, and she is also a business owner. She believes Leadership is the ultimate Delta for change, strategy, and growth in an organization, and she is now taking her years of experience helping businesses become high-performance organizations.

Laura has her Master’s in Organizational Leadership and certification in change management. Along with her years of communications and sales success, she is perfectly suited to help any organization assess, strategize, and develop both leaders and teams for growth.

Nicki loves fitness and adventure. Being active and engaging in outdoor activities is an integral part of her well-being. She also enjoys cooking and has been working on perfecting the croissant. She is an avid reader both independently and reading young adult novels with her daughters. Professionally, Nicki is a nursing leader with both a nursing and public health degree from the University of Minnesota. Over the past 20 years, she has worked for some of the largest healthcare delivery and health insurance companies in the Twin Cities, primarily in Care Management. Nicki joined Team Women in September 2023. She lives in the southern suburbs with her husband and two daughters.
