Empower Leadership Academy Sponsored by Medtronic

This academy is open to youth identifying as female ages 10-18 in the Medtronic and Greater Twin Cities community (you do not need to be a member of TeamWomen to attend).

Please be advised that this is a parent drop-off event.

Developing leadership, building confidence, and strengthening resilience requires education and practice. Empower Leadership Academy provides a safe and interactive environment to learn, grow, and develop.

All young girls in the greater Twin Cities community are encouraged to join us for a journey through the four areas of focus that we use in our proprietary curriculum: confidence, leadership, resilience, and mental wellness. This academy is open to all girls ages 10-18 in the Medtronic and Greater Twin Cities community (you do not need to be a member of TeamWomen to attend).

Peyton Owens is in his 18th year with Golden Gopher Athletics. He currently oversees Golden Gopher Baseball & Rowing, Student-Athlete Development (all education provided to student-athletes, including career readiness, personal development, community outreach, and risk reduction), and Diversity & Inclusion. Owens has been instrumental in the vision and implementation of Leadership U, which he has had oversight of since its launch. This collaboration with Land O’Lakes Inc. provides leadership development and emotional intelligence education and support to student-athletes, assistant coaches, head coaches, and athletics staff. To support this initiative and others like it, he is responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors for endowment and annual support of Leadership U, the W.I.L.L. program (Women Invested in Leadership and Learning), and more. Owens is also an ambassador for athletics on campus, bringing the voice of Golden Gopher Athletics to several critical groups. He is a member of the campus Equity & Diversity Subcommittee and is a Member of the University Senate Intercollegiate Athletics Equity and Diversity Subcommittee, Serves as the NCAA Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designee (ADID), Serves as a member of the Big Ten Conference Inclusive Excellence Committee. His commitment to collaboration and strategic partnerships, both at the University and in our broader Twin Cities help champion all that is Maroon and Gold.

Reelika Schulte is a certified international business coach with an honors degree in business and the founder of Design Dream Lifestyle, where she empowers women worldwide to transform their life experiences into thriving online coaching businesses.

Growing up in Estonia, Reelika developed an entrepreneurial mindset while watching her parents build their own business after the fall of the Soviet Union. With over a decade of experience working in her parents’ business, corporate finance, and running a personal finance blog, she became an expert in balancing personal and professional success. Reelika now leverages her business background and online expertise to guide women in the coaching field, helping them expand their reach through sales funnels, conversions, lead generation, and passive revenue strategies.

Her work has been featured in publications such as ForbesShining Mentor Magazine, and The Huffington Post. She frequently speaks about attracting clients through automated marketing, creating signature coaching programs that sell, and building sustainable, evergreen global coaching businesses.

Reelika lives in Minnesota with her husband, sons, and baby girl.

Nicki loves fitness and adventure. Being active and engaging in outdoor activities is an integral part of her well-being. She also enjoys cooking and has been working on perfecting the croissant. She is an avid reader both independently and reading young adult novels with her daughters. Professionally, Nicki is a nursing leader with both a nursing and public health degree from the University of Minnesota. Over the past 20 years, she has worked for some of the largest healthcare delivery and health insurance companies in the Twin Cities, primarily in Care Management. Nicki joined Team Women in September 2023. She lives in the southern suburbs with her husband and two daughters.
