Planning Ahead: Navigating the Financial Impact of Cognitive Decline and Caregiving

April 10 @ 7:30 am - 9:00 am CDT - $35 – $55

Join TeamWomen for an important and timely conversation about preparing for the financial realities of cognitive decline and caregiving.

In this educational session, financial advisor Wendy Gilmer of RBC Wealth Management will guide us through the financial considerations families often face when a loved one begins experiencing memory loss.

If you haven’t dealt with the challenge of a loved one showing signs of dementia or memory decline, chances are you will. According to the Alzheimer’s Association, the number of Americans living with dementia is expected to triple by 2050 due to increased longevity. When you add the more than 15 million people who currently provide care for family members and loved ones, it becomes clear that this disease touches nearly every family.

During this session, we will explore the financial impact of cognitive decline and caregiving, including the potential costs, the financial burden many families face, and the proactive planning strategies that can help protect both caregivers and loved ones.

Online Registration for this event ends on April 8, 2026.
