Jill Renslow is an accomplished leader and the Chief Business Development and Marketing Officer at Mall of America®, where she drives strategic initiatives, business development and marketing efforts for one of the world’s largest and most iconic shopping and entertainment destinations. With over 25 years of experience at Mall of America, Jill has been instrumental in shaping the Mall’s evolution, ensuring it remains a global leader in retail innovation and entertainment.

In her role, Jill oversees a wide-ranging portfolio that includes branding, public relations, digital strategies, guest engagement, and initiatives to generate revenue through events, partnerships and emerging technologies. A passionate advocate for collaboration, she works closely with tenants, partners and industry leaders to foster a dynamic environment for innovation and growth.

Jill has been a key driver of transformational projects at Mall of America, including a $25 million rebranding of Nickelodeon Universe®, the nation’s largest indoor amusement park. Her leadership has ensured continuous enhancements to rides, attractions, and partnerships, keeping the Mall at the forefront of visitor engagement and experiential retail.

She also plays a vital role in shaping the Mall’s long-term vision, contributing to major expansion plans that include a water park, additional hotels, office spaces, expanded entertainment offerings, and versatile event venues.

As a recognized thought leader, Jill frequently shares her insights on topics such as the future of retail, consumer behavior, and innovative marketing strategies. Her expertise and passion for advancing the retail and entertainment sectors have made her a sought-after speaker and industry resource.

Jill holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Communications from St. Cloud State University and a Master of Business Communication from the University of St. Thomas. Her career is defined by a dedication to innovation, strategic collaboration, and delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring Mall of America continues to thrive as a premier destination.

 

 

Ali is vice president of content for MSP Communications’ Cities Media Group division, which includes Twin Cities Business, where she also serves as editor in chief. In this dual role, Ali oversees digital content for both TCB and sister publication MplsSt.Paul Magazine, contributes to overall strategy and new initiatives for the magazines and leads the Twin Cities Business editorial team, including print and events.

An authority on retail, fashion, and consumer experience, Ali’s writing has appeared in numerous publications including Lucky and Delta Sky Magazine. Her award-winning monthly magazine column and blog bridged the space between business and lifestyle, offering a practical perspective on how we shop, why we shop, and the impact of trend, product, service, and technology on consumer experience. In recent years, she’s broadened her scope to coverage of technology, entrepreneurship, development issues, and workplace culture. Her ability to zero in on what matters to people, with advice and humor, has made her a sought after speaker, and helped to build a robust social media following.

A frequent event emcee and moderator, she appears regularly as an on-air expert for television and radio. She also hosts the weekly radio show Shop Girls on myTalk107.1. Her latest venture is Mother Of, an online platform to help mothers of the bride and groom find their perfect dress.

She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communication and now serves on the school’s Board of Visitors.

 

Sara has been an influential face and voice in the fashion community for over 50 years.

She is the Trend Specialist for Mall of America, an experienced model, personal development instructor, and image consultant.

As a fashion industry insider and influential spokesperson Sara has shared her style expertise on Dr. Phil, The Early Show, BBC Two, Martha Stewart Living radio, The Oprah Magazine, People Style Watch magazine and more.

The Fashion Group International honored Sara with an award of achievement for marketing/media/education. Mpls Saint Paul magazine deemed her as one of their Twin Citians Who Define Beauty.

In her role as Style Expert and Wardrobe Consultant, Sara has counseled women and men of all ages specializing in style made simple.
