She Reads, She Leads Book Club

January 18 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm CST - $15

At TeamWomen, we believe in the power of meaningful connections to empower women to rise together. Please join us for our She Reads, She Leads Book Club. Throughout the year, we discuss 6 different leadership books. We meet every other month with a member facilitator to share thoughts and ideas we learned through our reading. Bring your own beverage and book! The funds raised through this program contribute to replenishing our scholarship fund, which in turn enhances access to TeamWomen programs, fostering education and empowerment for women leaders.

Our January Book: You Are Here by Jaime Taets

Buy your copy on Jaime’s Website or Amazon

The path to success is never a straight line.

We zig here, zag there, backtrack, leapfrog, and sometimes just totally lose our way. When this is happening, we feel like we are failing. We feel like we must have failed somewhere along the way if we aren’t exactly where we thought we’d be by the time we thought we’d be there. It can be a really crappy-feeling place to be. But here’s the thing I want you to realize… This feeling happens to everyone! It’s normal! You’re not lost; you just don’t always know where you are. This entire book focuses on finding out where you are so you can make a plan to get you where you want to be.

We are thrilled to have the author, Jaime Taets, join us to facilitate this book club!

Meet Our Facilitator:

Jaime Taets

As a CEO, public speaker, Amazon best-selling author, podcast host, and thought leader… through every one of those roles, Jaime Taets is focused on helping individuals and companies get past whatever is holding them back from achieving what they are capable of.

Jaime’s experience begins in a corporate role at the largest privately-held corporation in the world. Thirteen years into that journey, she was comfortably uncomfortable. Having held various leadership roles, Jaime recognized that her strengths and approach would be better utilized outside the corporate world. Stepping out confidently while facing her own fears, she left that job and launched Keystone Group International in 2013.

Keystone Group International focuses on leadership development, organizational strategy, growth, and change. Jaime’s belief that strong leadership and a change-resilient culture are the foundation for sustainable growth drives her work with clients. Harnessing her own leadership experiences, she inspires real and sometimes challenging discussions about the crossroads between high performance and healthy change.

Her approach is a combination of direct and caring. Not one to step around challenges, she helps leaders focus on their root challenges. As she puts it, “Stop mowing the dandelions.” Jaime pushes her clients to dig deep; she calls out issues in their businesses and never lets them off the hook. Creating “a-ha” moments fuels her – those instances where they see the change they need to make and understand the potential of creating those shifts.

In her free time, Jaime serves as a board member for several non-profits, including the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and Playworks Minnesota. She has been named to Inc Magazine’s 200 top Female Founders list, a 100 Women to KNOW in America, and Twin Cities Business 2022 Notable Female Entrepreneurs.

If you would like to purchase either one of Jaime’s books, The Culture Climb or You Are Here, you can do so on Jaime’s website!
