This is a private event for the daughters/nieces/granddaughters of the Bellisio Foods national workforce and partners including young girls from the Minneapolis and metro area Police Explorers, Police Athletic League, and daughters of military soldiers and police officers.
We’re excited to host this private Virtual Empower Leadership Academy in resilience for girls in 5th-12th grade!
This year has been a challenging one for all of us, but especially our children. Last March, their young lives came to a screeching halt. They had to quickly grasp and develop tools to combat isolation, manage stress and anxiety, learn how to grieve what they lost, and become resilient.
Empower recognizes that kids of all ages need a focus on emotional and mental wellness every day. Throughout our program, participants will be given the tools to increase their self-awareness, improve self-regard, understand that relationship building is the essence of happiness, and strengthen their outlook on life.
Developing leadership skills, building confidence, and strengthening resilience require training and practice daily. We provide a safe and interactive environment to learn, grow, and develop new skills. This interactive learning environment is engaging with worksheets, videos, and breakout rooms to talk with their peers about what they are facing today.
During this academy, participants will become certified in the Emotional and Mental Wellness of Empower@Home. Certificates will be emailed out at the conclusion of the program.
