(VIRTUAL) Career Transition Connect Group | Members Only

At TeamWomen, we believe in the power of meaningful connections to empower women to rise together. That’s why, this summer, we are launching Connect Groups! This is a FREE member-led initiative for TeamWomen members with common goals and interests to gather. While these cohorts are free, we encourage a donation to support our mission work. Stacey Jensen and Jennifer O’Connor know firsthand about the highs and lows of career advancement. These two powerhouses are eager to create a space for women going through a career transition to come together in community. Content will be shaped by the participants’ interests but will cover networking, building your personal brand, and so much more.

The groups will meet monthly for four subsequent months. Our hope for these groups is to cultivate a strong sense of community within TeamWomen through deeper connections, shared interests, and support of one another’s goals. The groups are limited to 10 committed participants to ensure a tight-knit community.

Meeting Dates (First Wednesday of the month)

1. July 7 | 12:00-1:00 PM
2. August 4 | 12:00-1:00 PM
3. September 1 | 12:00-1:00 PM
4. October 8 | 4:00-5:30 PM

The final session will be a large group get-together with the other cohort and a way to celebrate wins and new connections. It will take place at the TeamWomen Office in the West End. The address is 1633 West End Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55416.

Stacey Jensen

Stacey Jensen has 15+ years of experience in marketing and special events where she specializes in creating memorable experiences that build brand recognition and drive meaningful awareness. After a year of being in career transition, she has recently accepted the position of Corporate Relations & Special Events Officer for CornerHouse, a non-profit that advocates to end child abuse. She attributes her success to the connections she has made along the way and all of the wonderful people who have supported her.

Stacey received an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from St. Thomas University. She has been a TeamWomen member for over 5 years and enjoys being a part of the Mentor Program. In addition to her time with TeamWomen, she serves on the Minnesota Festival and Events Association Board, and is the Philanthropic Chair of the National Concierge Association and past Chair of the MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce. In her free time, she is a mother to two crazy little boys. Her favorite place in the world is her cabin up north where her family has been creating memories for 5 generations!

Jennifer O’Connor

Jennifer O’Connor began her career in teaching, gaining experience in classroom management and leadership. She then changed her career direction and pursued the financial services industry, where she had a long tenure with Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty in various roles. She recently accepted a position as a Billing Supervisor. Jennifer specializes in relationship building, collaboration, and team leadership.
